Popped in as we drove past on Wednesday morning. They are having some work done but easy to work out heading upstairs. We were greeted by several very welcoming members of staff who offered tasting of the wine. Lovely atmosphere to sit and sip wine or get some food. Recommended.

Great to see the new cafe and shop open as we are local so a great destination for coffee and cake with dogs. Today was a special occasion with vineyard tour and wine tasting. Thanks to John and Alex for a great experience. Cheese pairings delicious too and the lunch and dessert a bonus. We will be back soon. 👍

We visited for the Ultimate Wine Tasting tour. The setting is lovely, especially in the summer. The structure of the tour and tasting was well thought out. We began with a brief intro over a glass of Estate Rose, then the tour through the vineyard and winery, then back to the private tasting room. The tasting had 5 Bolney wines paired with local cheese, fish and salami and we learned about the wines and what foods they would accompany best. This was followed by a sharing board and wine on order if you wanted it. My only small critique would be timing the delivery of the boards and wine to be closer together - which in the grand scheme of things is not a big issue. Personally, I would have been happier with the board arriving a few minutes later so our wine wasn't too far behind. After the tour, there is a lovely deck that catches the sun and is perfect for a relaxed drink after the tasting. Booking in advance for the weekend is essential over the summer as we booked relatively last minute and slots were limited! We would definitely return.

Fantastic visit to Bolney Wine Estate, have visited other vineyards and bodegas, but still learnt a lot. Howard and Sally were great hosts, really engaged the visitors. The food and wine pairings worked really well.. Would recommend to any wine enthusiast!

Great experience at Bolney. We had a delayed flight at Gatwick - and Bolney accommodated us last minute without fuss for a tour of the winery and a cheeky couple bottles of delicious bubbles. Want to come back in summer - great place to visit to see wine making.

Had a tremendous afternoon and evening on a wine tasting and tour . The guide ( Kelly ) was excellent, she explained everything clearly and concisely and did so with enthusiasm and obvious great knowledge. We then had a tasting session in which further information was given as well as tasting some of the wines produced on the estate along with local cheeses, meats and fish. The estate was beautiful and the whole experience was very enjoyable. I would definitely reccomend a visit.

We got given this nice voucher on our birthday for a wine tour, and today was the day. Maybe a Tuesday morning is not the most logical time for a wine tasting tour, but it was the only slot we could find this week. So we ended up as the only ones in the tour, which was well done and presented by our knowledgeable and kind tour guide. The tour included wine tasting, which was again, well presented and accompanied with some nice cheeses. The wine tasting did have a bit of a ‘please buy out wine’ ring to it, tasted a bit like a promotion, although without any pressure. Afterwards we ordered some coffee with pastries, which were very nice. On a nice day, this is definitely worth a visit.

An altogether good visit. We enjoyed the wine tour with two superb tour leaders Nick and Sylvie, both very knowledgeable and engaging. The wines are mainly white rather than my preference which is red however that didn't take away from the whole tasting experience and opportunity to be both entertained and informed. The meal that went with the tasting tour was OK albeit a little 'light' and in fact could.double the quantities or add mini beefburgers so there is something hot. Also the glass of wine with the meal is chargeable at £8 per glass. Not a problem but this needs to be highlighted so there is choice to spend on this or not.(it kinda is a sucker punch to find out afterwards, especially of you had a glass each as a couple). The signage to the winery is good and it is not hard to find which was a worry but in actual fact it was easy and well signposted. There is everything to like on this wine tasting tour, the guys are brilliant, the premises work as they overlook the vineyard, and the local produce served is a nice touch that connects everything into the locality. So what could be improved: 1. Clear indication on the day for chargeable drinks and prices. 2. When purchasing over £100 worth of drinks it seems reasonable to have the price/charge of a glass of wine removed. Otherwise there's a sour taste and slightly negative feeling left on what really is a superb experience.
